The different types of terminals are defined through a strategic analysis between the existing logistical bottlenecks and the demands of the national and international market.
The commercial strategy, combined with excellent location and port management, will ensure a solid partnership with terminal operators. Porto Central, as a greenfield project developed in phases, provides flexibility to terminal operators in terms of the phased design and implementation of their terminals.
Crude Oil and Oil Products
The Liquid Bulk Terminal of the port offers a safe, efficient and competitive solution to meet the country's demand for export and import of crude oil and derivatives.
Natural gas
Porto Central could become one of the main natural gas supply routes to the country through imported LNG or the use of associated offshore gas.
