Porto Central is a new multipurpose industrial port complex under development in the Southeastern Region of Brazil in the South of the State of Espírito Santo.

With deep waters and an area of approximately 2,000 hectares, the port will serve as a gateway to an extensive hinterland and as a global hub for various businesses, capable of receiving the largest and most modern vessels in the world. Our main goal is to expand national access to a quality and efficient port infrastructure, providing logistical excellence and improving the country's competitiveness, meeting the growing demands of the market.

Porto Central, as a multipurpose port, aims to serve the most diverse areas of business. The port will be implemented in phases, according to market and customer demand.

Industry and Other Businesses

Porto Central has a total area of 2 thousand hectares available for the exploration of integrated port and industrial activities of the most diverse business segments.

ZPE

The port will count with an Export Processing Zone for the installation of export-oriented companies.

Iron Ore

Encouraging the expansion of iron ore exports from Brazil through the infrastructure of Porto Central and future railway connections.

Agribusiness

New logistical alternative for the export and import of agricultural bulk, with road and rail access with the future connections EF-118 and EF-354.

General Cargo

Porto Central provides a specialized terminal for the handling of general cargoes to efficiently serve the Espírito Santo market and its hinterland.

Excellent location in the center of the Brazilian coast to consolidate an export, import and distribution hub for containerized cargo.

Offshore Supply

The port infrastructure combined with the privileged location of the port close to the offshore fields allows it to accommodate all the support services to the offshore industry.

High potential in the region for renewable energies and attractiveness for the development of a large-scale plant for the production of green H2 and NH3.

Porto Central Energy Hub will connect different energy generating sources and related industries in a strategic location to meet market demand.
