The Porto Central Environmental Education Program (PEA) held two Extra Participatory Socio-Environmental Diagnosis Workshops, one in the Municipality of Presidente Kennedy, in the Community of Santo Eduardo, and the other, in Marataízes, in the Community of Praia dos Cações, on the 25th and the 28th of July. “The objective of the extra workshops was to allow communities that did not have representatives participating in the meetings already held to be represented given their proximity to the Direct Influence Area of ​​Porto Central”, highlighted Daniela Sant'Anna, Consultant at Lumiar Ambiental, supplier from Porto Central.

During the meetings, participants had the opportunity to create a mental map of their municipality, highlighting their perceptions about the potential and deficiencies of their region, expectations with the arrival of Porto Central and what they expect from the Environmental Education Program.

Next activities

The next activities that will be developed by the Environmental Education Program are the Lectures on Prevention of Sexually Transmitted Infections.
