Porto Central is pleased to announce the results of the 2nd Batize Uma Tartaruga Competition, created and promoted by Porto Central, with the technical support of Ecoes, Braço Social and Centro Tamar-ICMBio-MMA. The competition aimed to choose the baptismal name for three sea turtles found in the sands of the beaches on the coast of Presidente Kennedy/ES during the 2021 season of the Porto Central Marine Turtle Monitoring Program.

With around 100 suggestions coming from all over the country, the three names most voted by the public were 1st Poseidon, 2nd Vitória de Marobá and 3rd Cininha.

The Porto Central team will contact the winners to deliver their prizes.

We would like to thank everyone for participating in this fun initiative that aims to conserve biodiversity in the port's area of ​​influence.
