Os diretores do Porto Central, José Maria Vieira de Novaes e José Salomão Fadlalah, participaram da primeira reunião de trabalho do ano entre o Governo do Estado do Espírito Santo na presença do Governador Renato Casagrande e a Prefeitura Municipal de Presidente Kennedy na presença do prefeito eleito Dorlei Fontão. Também participaram da reunião o Diretor Geral do Departamento de Edificações e de Rodovias do Espírito Santo – DER-ES, Luiz Cesar Maretto Coura, os Secretários da Secretaria de Governo e de Desenvolvimento do Estado, Tyago Hoffmann e Márcio Kneip, respectivamente, e o empresário Marco Vivácqua.
Este encontro teve como objetivo alinhar as ações que envolvem a atuação estadual e municipal na implementação do Porto Central. Diversos assuntos foram tratados, entre eles a infraestrutura local, o sistema de abastecimento de água, capacitação profissional e a possibilidade de utilizar os recursos do fundo soberano do estado.
Em relação à melhoria da infraestrutura do entorno do porto, foi discutido os três projetos de melhorias do sistema rodoviário, a ES-162, que é a atual rodovia que liga a BR-101 passando na sede da cidade de Presidente Kennedy à área portuária; a realocação da Rodovia do Sol da ES-060; e a extensão da ES-297 que ligará à BR-101 à área portuária, próxima à divisa do estado.
Além das melhorias rodoviárias, também foi discutido o projeto da construção do ramal ferroviário ligando Anchieta até a Presidente Kennedy, na divisa do Espírito Santo com o Estado do Rio de Janeiro. A construção do ramal sul da ferrovia EF-118, em parceria com a Vale, é o anseio da comunidade empresarial e industrial da região que busca criar uma plataforma logística adequada e competitiva que permitirá a conexão dos modais portuário, rodoviário e ferroviário, aumentando a capacidade de produção e movimentação de cargas e suprindo as necessidades econômicas da região sul do Espírito Santo.
As reuniões de trabalho entre o Porto Central e os Governos Estadual e Municipal são fundamentais para garantir alinhamento entre todas as partes e traçar as ações e os objetivos para o novo ano buscando viabilizar a instalação do complexo portuário. The General Director of the Department of Buildings and Highways of Espírito Santo – DER-ES, Luiz Cesar Maretto Coura, the Secretaries of the State and Development Government, Tyago Hoffmann and Márcio Kneip, respectively, and the businessman Marco Vivácqua, also attended the meeting.
This meeting aimed to align the actions that involve the state and the municipality in the implementation of Porto Central. Several subjects were discussed, including local infrastructure, water supply system, professional training and the possibility of using the resources of the state sovereign fund.
Regarding the improvement of the infrastructure surrounding the port, the three projects to improve the road system were discussed, the ES-162, which is the current highway that connects BR-101 passing through President Kennedy’s city center to the port area; the relocation of Rodovia do Sol, ES-060; and the extension of ES-297 that will connect BR-101 to the port area, close to the state border.
In addition to the roadway improvements, the project for the construction of the railway branch connecting Anchieta to Presidente Kennedy, on the border between Espírito Santo and the State of Rio de Janeiro, was also discussed. The construction of the southern branch of the EF-118 railway, in partnership with Vale, is the desire of the region’s business and industrial community that seeks to create an adequate and competitive logistics platform that will allow the multimodal connection of port, road and railway, increasing the production capacity and cargo handling and meeting the economic needs of the southern region of Espírito Santo.
The meetings between Porto Central and the State and Municipal Governments are essential to ensure alignment between all parties and outline the actions and goals for the new year in order to materialize the installation of the port complex.[:]
