O Movimento Empresarial Sul Espírito Santo – MESSES, em parceria com o Governo do Estado do Espírito Santo, por meio da Secretaria de Desenvolvimento, a FINDES – Federação das Indústrias do Espírito Santo e o Porto Central promoveram no dia 21 de outubro de 2020 o Evento “Juntos pela Criação da Plataforma Logística Sul Capixaba”, com o objetivo de apresentar o projeto de um terminal multimodal que visa integrar os diversos modais logísticos: ferroviário, com a implementação do trecho ferroviário entre Anchieta/ES e Divisa ES/RJ, rodoviário e marítimo, com a conexão com o Porto Central.

A dinâmica do evento contou com uma apresentação pelo CEO do Porto Central, José Maria Novaes, que discorreu em mais detalhes o conceito e as oportunidades da nova Plataforma Logística Sul Capixaba, bem como um debate moderado pelo Diretor-Presidente do Movimento Espírito Santo em Ação, Fábio Brasileiro, com a participação do Secretário de Estado de Desenvolvimento, Marcos Kneip, Secretária de Estado da Ciência, Tecnologia, Inovação e Educação Profissional e Coordenadora do Conselho Regional de Desenvolvimento Litoral Sul, Cristina Engel, o Secretário de Estado da Cultura e Coordenador do Comitê do Conselho Desenvolvimento Central Sul, Fabricio Noronha, Vice-Presidente da FINDES, Tales Machado, e o Presidente do MESSES – Movimento Empresarial Sul Espírito Santo, José Bessa Barros.

Os participantes reforçaram a importância da integração dos modais marítimo, rodoviário e ferroviário na Região Sul do Espírito Santo como garantia de maior desenvolvimento socioeconômico e competitividade para a indústria e negócios do sul capixaba. Estudos preliminares mostraram que a Plataforma Logística Sul Capixaba é capaz de trazer um incremento de capacidade de mais de 20 milhões de toneladas por ano de cargas potenciais, tais como contêiner, calcário, rochas ornamentais, grãos, fertilizantes, produtos siderúrgicos, entre outros.

O desenvolvimento do primeiro trecho da ferrovia EF-118 entre Cariacica e Anchieta será confirmado com a assinatura da renovação da concessão da EFVM em novembro/2020. O segundo trecho da ferrovia entre Anchieta e a divisa ES/RJ está em discussão e terá seu projeto executivo feito pela Vale. Este trecho complementará a Plataforma Logística Sul Capixaba, gerando mais equilíbrio regional no desenvolvimento do Estado do Espírito Santo, segurança nas estradas, redução de custos logísticos, otimização da logística e oportunidades de novos negócios e investimentos.

The dynamic of the event included a presentation by the CEO of Porto Central, José Maria Novaes, who explained in more detail about the concept and opportunities of the new Logistics Platform Southern Capixaba, as well as a debate moderated by the CEO of the Espírito Santo in Action Movement, Fábio Brasileiro, with the participation of the State Secretary of Development, Marcos Kneip, the State Secretary of Science, Technology, Innovation and Professional Education and Coordinator of the Regional Development Council for the South Coast, Cristina Engel, the State Secretary of Culture and Coordinator of the Regional Development Council for the Central-South, Fabricio Noronha, Vice President of FINDES, Tales Machado, and the President of MESSES, José Bessa Barros.

The participants reinforced the importance of integrating maritime, road and rail logistics in the Southern Region of Espírito Santo as a guarantee for socioeconomic development and competitiveness for the industry and businesses in the south of Espírito Santo. Preliminary studies have shown that the Logistics Platform Southern Capixaba is capable of bringing a capacity increase of more than 20 million tons per year of potential cargoes, such as container, limestone, ornamental rocks, grains, fertilizers, steel products, among others.

The development of the first section of the EF-118 railway between Cariacica and Anchieta will be confirmed with the signature of the renewal of the EFVM concession in November/2020. The second section of the railway between Anchieta and the ES/RJ border is under discussion and will have its executive design done by Vale. This section will complement the Logistics Platform Southern Capixaba, generating more regional balance in the development of the State of Espírito Santo, safety on the roads, logistics costs reduction, optimization of logistics and opportunities for new business and investments.
