Durante o evento Plano Espírito Santo – Convivência Consciente, realizado hoje (26/11), em Vitória/ES, com a presença do Governador do Estado Renato Casagrande e demais autoridades públicas e privadas, foi assinado o Memorando de Entendimento entre as empresas EnP, Oil Group e Porto Central para desenvolvimento do projeto da RefinES (Refinaria do Espírito Santo).
A RefinES está sendo estudada para ser implantada na área do Porto Central, um novo complexo industrial portuário no Munícipio de Presidente Kennedy, localizado no sul do Estado do Espírito Santo. A infraestrutura portuária em desenvolvimento pelo Porto Central e sua localização estratégica próxima dos campos de óleo & gás do Pré-sal são fatores determinantes para instalar este empreendimento neste local.
A RefinES está na fase de estudos, onde estão sendo definidos os objetivos de produção, capacidades de processamento e as rotas tecnológicas. O seu desenvolvimento segue a metodologia de aprovação por passagem de portal, com escopos definidos ao final de cada etapa para tomada de decisões.
A refinaria modular poderá ter capacidade de processar 50 mil barris por dia, sendo a implantação do projeto em duas fases, a primeira com 30 mil barris por dia e a segunda com 20 mil. Este empreendimento possui um investimento estimado em US$ 640 milhões (US$ 350 milhões na fase 1 e US$ 290 milhões na fase 2).
A planta poderá processar o óleo offshore brasileiro, com 29° API, para produzir gasolina, óleo diesel, GLP (gás liquefeito de petróleo) e MGO (marine gasoil), atendendo à demanda do mercado capixaba.
A expectativa é que a RefinES entre em operação em 2 a 3 anos após a aprovação da última fase dos estudos, quando deverão seguir para as fases de implementação (contratação, construção e montagem) e operação. Assim a previsão para entrada em operação seria entre 2025 e 2026.

RefinES is in study phase, where production objectives, processing capacities and technological routes are being defined. Its development follows the gate approval methodology, with scopes defined at the end of each stage for decision making.
The modular refinery may have the capacity to process 50 thousand barrels per day, with the implementation of the project in two phases, the first with 30 thousand barrels per day and the second with 20 thousand. This project has an estimated investment of US$ 640 million (US$ 350 million in phase 1 and US$ 290 million in phase 2).
The plant will be able to process Brazilian offshore oil, with 29 ° API, to produce gasoline, diesel oil, LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) and MGO (marine gasoil), meeting the demand of the Espírito Santo market.
